About the spa
Spa Izumi and Onsen promotes the health and quality of experience for each guest by acknowledging their unique needs and desired results. The Spa utilises the bountiful products and elements indigenous to the Hakone region and all services and experiences are delivered in a manner that is reflective of local tradition.
The natural elements of the Onsen waters, the cycle and phases of the moon, and the healing plants and minerals indigenous to the Hakone region are the foundation of our Spa services.
Through authentic spa treatments based on the science of "Naturopathy," Spa Izumi and Onsen will harvest local ingredients to connect you to the dynamic and bountiful nature of Hakone, refreshing your mind, body, and spirit.
All of its 8 treatment rooms boast walk-in mist saunas and showers. Four of the rooms have bathtubs. There are also rooms made for couples and others fitted with vichy showers. Products used in the treatments include the Hotel’s own original 100% vegetable and fruit oils made from the extracts of avocados, kiwis, etc. as well as the world famous "Yon-Ka" salon products used by phyto-therapy and aroma-therapy professionals in France. The spa lets the mind and soul relax after the body is warmed by a soothing hot spring.
